Awareness Creates Urgency
Some can people stay stuck if they are not truly aware of their problem.
The alcoholic who won't stop drinking until a massive negative event takes place in his family.
The fast driver who won't slow down until he crashes his car.
The broke person who is too lazy to earn more money until a large bill arrives.
Awareness is what creates urgency.
You don't need a large spiritual reason to want to become successful.
If you have one, great. But you don't need it.
We are biological creatures wired for growth and expansion.
That desire already exists inside you.
It just needs to be awakened.
So do this.
Write down what you have that you don't want.
Write down what you want that you don't have.
Write down what you like about your life and what you don't.
Write down what makes you happy and what makes you sad.
Imagine your life ten years from now if you continued living the exact same way. Would it be an exciting life or a depressing one?
Then read the full list and become aware.
That alone will spark a massive urgency within you to take action.
And if it doesn't, then you are probably content with where you are. Which is completely fine.
But if you are not content, that list will show you from a third person perspective exactly how much work you have left to do.
And that is where urgency is born.
