Framing Your Desires

Either you can frame your goals and aspirations in a way that generates anger and hatred, or you can frame them in a way that generates happiness, love and hope.

You can say "I want to achieve x so I don't feel weak anymore."

Or you can say "I want to achieve x so I can feel strong and happy, and use that strength and happiness to inspire others."

Even if helping others or feeling happy isn't your primary desire, and you have to be honest and emotionally intelligent with yourself to truly know that, it at least generates a sense of satisfaction and positive energy.

Framing your desires positively lets you enjoy the process rather than resenting it.

It lets you actually appreciate the fruits of your labor instead of immediately chasing the next thing without feeling any gratitude for what you have already accomplished.
