How the Warrior Deals With Vulnerability

The warrior is very aware of his vulnerability in the battlefield - namely, his physical body.

A warrior doesn't remove his armor during battle. He knows that his vulnerability—his physical body—can be injured.

But by wearing armor, he protects himself from death or defeat.

In life, we all have emotional vulnerabilities, but we can build armor—mental frameworks, self-discipline, and logic—to shield ourselves from being
killed by those vulnerabilities.

Vulnerability doesn’t disappear, and it shouldn't, but it needs to be managed and protected against.

If a warrior ignored his vulnerabilities, he’d fall much more easily.

Worse still, he might become so afraid of them that he never steps onto the battlefield at all.
