What You Do With It

Two people can face the exact same circumstance and feel the same emotions, but still have different responses to them.

One is destroyed and gives up.

The other one starts to act.

The difference is not the situation.

It is not even the perspective.

It not even the emotion.

It's what you do with the emotion.

This is why it is so crucial that you know how to think, do and live in order to act correctly regardless of what emotion you feel.

The emotion is neutral and natural.

What matters is what you do with it.

You should be above the powerful influence of the emotion if it's destructive to your life, not the other way around.

The actual emotion doesn't matter.

If you feel good, great.

If you feel bad, look for how to fix it, and if you can't, good.

You should be in control.

Train yourself to be the kind of person whose natural response to anything, good or bad, is power, control and forward motion.

Act motivated by the idea that you are demotivated.

Do you understand?
