Standing in the Rain
Imagine rain pouring down on you.
It’s dark outside.
The water is cold, relentless, and you’re standing there—in an empty field of nothingness.
But you still have your wants, your duties, your responsibilities—and whether it rains or not, they don’t disappear.
The rain shouldn't remove them.
Tell me, what’s better?
Reaching out to someone who you love and care about, even while the rain is pouring… or standing still in the rain, feeling sorry for yourself?
Moving, generating heat, fighting the cold… or staying still letting the rain make you cold?
Getting to work, gathering what you can, building some kind of shelter to protect yourself from the rain… or doing nothing and letting the rain soak through you?
Because whether it rains or not, you still have responsibilities.
To yourself.
To the people close to you.
Maybe even to something bigger—your ancestors, the universe, whatever you believe in.
You should still move.
You should still act.
You should still do what’s right.
Sure, if the sun is shining, that’s great.
That's beautiful.
But don’t make the mistake of letting the rainy days control your world.
But also understand this...
You don't have to stay in the rain.
You can travel to somewhere else where it's sunny and beautiful.
But if it rains where you're at currently, you should never EVER surrender to it.
