The Importance of Transparent Communication

Transparent communication is extremely important if you want people to like you and feel safe with you. 

Even if you haven't made a decision yet, or if you haven't had time to check for whatever information someone is asking you for, make sure you tell what's going on. 

"Hey, I haven't had time to do (x), but I'll let you know before Friday about what I think." 

That at least makes someone calm down.

But if you don't tell someone transparently what's going on, they lose interest.
