Thinking "Positive" Or "Negative"

Don’t think in a positive way nor a negative way.

Simply think in a way that gives you the results you want.

You see, thinking only positively can sometimes be negative.

And thinking negatively can sometimes be positive.

Use whatever produces the results you want.

Someone who thinks they think positively, could think something like:

"Oh, well, I guess it's not that bad! At least I have a roof over my head and other things to be grateful for. There are others who have it worse than me, you know."

No. Don’t frame your situation that way (If you want to change it). If the situation you're in genuinely upsets you, change it.

Using gratitude to avoid acknowledging dissatisfaction is cowardice.

Comparing yourself to others to justify remaining in a negative situation only keeps you stuck.

And someone who thinks "negatively" could think something like:

"My life fucking sucks. I hate my life."

Let yourself feel that if it allows you to push forward towards what you want.

Don't hide away from your pain or your insecurities.

Embrace them.

USE them.

Think in ways that support you.
